May 23, 24 and 25 - Mosquito State Park’s Big Birding Weekend
YBC volunteers will be leading a few bird hikes for kids and manning our posters and information booth.
June:
June 22 - Herp Walk with ODNR’s Ryan Moss
We will be walking along Little Beaver Creek, one of Ohio’s State Wild and Scenic Rivers with snake expert Ryan
Moss. Hold or just observe the snakes and other reptiles and amphibians we find.

July 13 - Birding by Kayak/Pontoon -Bring sunscreen, bug spray, drinking water and no open toed shoes. Those
wishing detailed kayak instruction can attend one of the Kayak Training Sessions that Jason offers through
Mosquito Lake State Park. You can email Jason for more information at [email protected]

August __ - Field Trip to Nimisila Lake to see the Purple Martins staging for migration. This is a spectacle to be
witnessed!

October 26 - Coyotes in Ohio Presentation with Amy Reeher from Trumbull Soil and Water Conservation
District. Regular meeting and preparation for conference to follow.
