OYBC’s fundraising efforts, made by each chapter through conducting a Big Sit or Big Day, allowed us to donate $1,000 to the Lights Out Buckeyes - a conservation project of The Ornithology Club at Ohio State. This Columbus-based initiative is part of the statewide Ohio Lights Out program that raises awareness about the dangers that bright nighttime lights pose to migrating birds.
