Wildside Nature Tours Scholarship to Coastal Maine Bird Studies

This new scholarship from Wildside Nature Tours will provide financial assistance for OYBC members to attend Coastal Maine Bird Studies for Teens on Hog Island. Heartfelt thanks to Kevin Loughlin and his team at Wildside Nature Tours for supporting young birders with this incredible scholarship fund and opportunity. 
The 2020-2021 scholarship application period has ended.
​Applications must be submitted to Black Swamp Bird Observatory by January 15, 2020. The scholarship will be awarded in February.
​
Scholarship Guidelines:
  1. A $1,000 scholarship is available to help an OYBC student member (age 14–17) attend Coastal Maine Bird Studies on Hog Island, Session I: June 14-19, 2020, operated by National Audubon Society.
  2. All application submissions must include the completed application Scholarship Application Form, Letter of Recommendation Form, and a Letter of Recommendation. 
  3. Applications must be submitted by January 15, 2020.
  4. Send your application materials electronically to info@ohioyoungbirders.org with Wildside Scholarship Application in the
    ​subject line or mail your application materials to: Black Swamp Bird Observatory, Attn: Laura Guerard, 13551 W. State Route 2, Oak Harbor, OH 43449
