Black River Audubon Scholarship to Coastal Maine Bird Studies
We are so excited to share with you an amazing new opportunity - the Black River Audubon Scholarship to attend Hog Island Coastal Maine Bird Studies for Teens Camp. The Black River Audubon Hog Island Scholarship provides full tuition and travel expenses to assist a student who is interested in the study of natural science, including birds and conservation, to attend the Coastal Maine Bird Studies for Teens camp this summer, June 21-26, 2020. This effort supports the goals of both Ohio Young Birders Club and Black River Audubon to encourage, educate, and empower our youth conservation leaders. This is a wonderful opportunity for our young birders to share their love of birds and nature with other students from all over the United States. We have had several students from our chapter attend Hog Island and they loved their experience of not only seeing new birds but of making new friends.
To apply for the scholarship, please read the attached guidelines and complete and submit the application, essay and letters of reference no later than January 10, 2020. The 2020-2021 scholarship application period has ended.
